The name Esme stems from the French meaning to be loved. We hope users love Esme for its premium look and feel.

How does Esme assure quality of products and safety for you?

• All batches are independently tested by the British Standard Institute (BSI) to ensure they meet the quality required for producing condoms ISO4074:2015.
• ISO standards demonstrate our ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Our products comply with the relevant EU legislation and may be sold anywhere in the European Economic Area (EEA).
• FDA has been granted for the manufacturing of condoms at our Malaysian factory and can be requested for condoms that are to be sold in the US.

Scandinavian minimalism is all about functionality, quality and simplicity. These guiding keywords are core to how Esme is designed and developed. Esme approaches the condom industry with a functional strategy, quality production and simple impression.

The rubber we use is sourced from agroforestry farmers who help preserve the richness of nature on this planet. At Esme, no animal testing is conducted, and the products are all vegan. We are proud to be certified by Peta and the Vegan Society Trademark. The foil in which the condoms are preserved is made from biodegradable packaging, called PET foil. Moreover, the Esme boxes are made in FSC-certified material to support and protect the future of our forests. Read more about our sustainability efforts here.

We believe that you like to know about what goes into the products you buy. It all starts in Thailand, where approximately 30 agroforestry farms grow trees and harvest rubber. Next, the rubber is brought to latex processing facilities before making its way to the condom manufacturing plant in Malaysia. This supply chain has a closed-loop process with a transparent and 100% traceable chain for sustainable rubber. Therefore, we can ensure that our products contain natural latex harvested from regenerative agroforestry. Finally, the finished products are shipped to our warehouse in Sweden, where the rest of the distribution is made.
